Partnerships: Global Business Network
	Established in 1986 as the Capital Region World Trade Council, the mission of the Global Business Network (GBN) is to increase the prosperity of New York’s Capital Region through strong focused leadership in the international business community. The GBN promotes, supports and improves the flow of international commerce through information and educational activities, provides access to resources and works in partnership with other public and private sector organizations to create an international trade network for the Capital Region.
Through its joint membership agreement with the Capital Region World Trade Center, the GBN: sponsors opportunities for networking among members of the international trade community; facilitates access to resources at the local, state, national and international levels to satisfy the needs of our global trade community; disseminates current information about international trade programs and resources to businesses in the Capital Region; provides education on international trade issues; works in partnership with other public and private sector organizations to help create an international trade network for the Capital Region.
