Seminar Overview:

There have been many changes to the U.S. immigration system in the post-September 11 world. These changes affect Capital Region companies and their ability to hire and retain the skilled personnel required to support business expansion. This presentation will help area companies learn how to cope with these new changes, and provide them with an opportunity to ask questions of local experts. This seminar will address the following issues:

  • What are the major changes to the U.S. immigration laws since September 11 including the areas of enforcement, categories, and special registration?
  • How has the Immigration and Naturalization Service changed now that the Deptartment of Homeland Security has come into existence?
  • How can I hire skilled foreign personnel to help my company grow?
