Event Overview:

The European Union (EU) has population of over 375 million consumers divided among its 15 member countries. That number will soon rise to over 500 million as the EU welcomes 9 new members including The Czech Republic, *Estonia, Hungary, *Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia (*Pending September 2003 Referendum). The arrival of the EURO has made it easier to do business across borders with the region. Doing business in the EU presents both opportunities and challenges especially for small and medium sized U.S. businesses. The U.S. Commercial Service can be a partner and resource in your efforts to expand into the EU market.

This half-day seminar is an excellent opportunity for small and medium sized businesses to participate in practical how-to dialogues with staff from the U.S. Commercial Service office at the U.S. Mission to the European Union.

  • Customs Classification
  • Data Privacy
  • Value Added Taxes
  • Trademarks, Patents and Designs
